SG News Post #1
After a year I’ve finally decided to improve more than just the quality of my posts, and thus we’ve got a new layout. Yay! First I’d like to thank everyone who helped me get things up and running, you know who you are. The occasion? Space Gizmo turned a whole year old on the 1st so I thought that in the spirit of everything this site stands for I’d spiff it up so you folks know that eventually I will get around to improving it. Hah, no it isn’t that bad I don’t think.
To new visitors, this post is no doubt just rambling and nonsensical. Welcome! Hopefully you enjoy the site. To return visitors, welcome back and thank you. I know I don’t usually make rambling posts, as I do like to stay on topic but I did want to address the anniversary and new layout.
Of which I’d like to draw your attention to. All the way at the bottom is the footer as those of you know, and all site information from credit to the about is down there now. Feel free to give feed back, positive or critical. I do want to improve the site as much as I can as always, but I can only do so much by myself. So if you see any videos that don’t work, or anything else wrong let me know. Or just have an opinion about the site which you’d like to share, go for it.
I really don’t want to distract from the main purpose of this blog though, the awesome pictures and video. So in the future I’ll have some way of interacting with you all without doing just that. Meanwhile, enjoy the site and for those of you which it applies have a happy 4th. For the rest, just have a good day.

Update: Sorry, I fixed the 404 error to the links in the footer. Please, if there is a problem with the site then you should either e-mail, leave a comment below, or leave a comment on the Feedback page which can be located via the link at the bottom of the page.
After someone notified me that the RSS feed wasn’t working, I got right on it and discovered the problem was something really stupid. Apologizes. Let me know this stuff isn’t working if it isn’t. I like to know.
Ready to Rove
Last week NASA’s newest rover Curiosity got its wheels and suspension, this image taken on the 29th of last month shows the Mars Science Laboratory as it readies for its 2011 launch to the red planet. The heaviest and the most ambitious rover mission ever, MSL will join Spirit and Opportunity in furthering our understanding of Mars. Enjoy, and happy 4th everyone!
