STS-130: The Highlights of Launch

Endeavour is set to land at Kennedy Space Center on Sunday at 10:20 p.m. EST, and undock from the station at 7:54 p.m. EST tonight. That being said, here is a great highlight video of the launch of the space shuttle that occurred on the 8th of this month.

The Ribbon Ceremony

Video of the ribbon cutting ceremony of the Tranqulity module, the last US module to be attached to the International Space Station, and the seven window Cupola. You can see as the astronauts take turns looking out the new window to the earth, providing the best view of the planet ever from inside of a spacecraft.

Things are more quiet now on ISS, with the crew of Endeavour having returned to the space shuttle and hatches closed at 3:08 a.m. EST this morning in preparation for undocking later this evening at 7:54 p.m. EST.

Views With Cuopla

Beautiful images in and outside of the Cupola module. First we have Astronaut Nicholas Patrick viewed outside of the space station during the third and final spacewalk on February 13th. The Second image is also Astronaut Nicholas Patrick, this time viewed inside the Cupola module looking out. The last image, is a stunning image of Endeavour viewed from Cupola. Absolutely amazing view of the earth as well, enjoy!

Remember, Endeavour undocks from the International Space Station tomorrow. Oh, and the second and third image are both from the 18th if anyone was interested.
