Thursday Landing Waved Off

If you haven’t heard, Space Shuttle Discovery didn’t land tonight due to dynamic Florida weather. They will though be trying tomorrow and will either land at Kennedy Space Center or Edwards Air Force Base depending how things go. So four chances to land tomorrow, the first being at 5:48 EST (21:48 GMT), with de-orbit burn at 4:45 p.m. EST (20:45 GMT). The weather isn’t likely to improve for a landing at KSC, and may even be worse so if Discovery can’t land in Florida, it’ll try to land in California.

So hopefully we’ll have a landing tomorrow, east coast or west coast.
